Dos Amigos in Ibbenbueren

Unfortunately, disappointing again ... Last year we didn't have any good experiences with the food ... now you try it again, you want to support the local gastronomy. I saw the advertisement online with the 4 tacos, they looked very good but it was difficult to order. I wanted to order 4 tacos in 2 different sorts, whereupon the very unfriendly employee on the phone told me you could only order 4 identical tacos ... do you want to earn money or not? When asked if the cook could not do 2 + 2, I got the cheeky answer: “Yes, the cook can do that, but it's not on offer, that's not the point, you can only order 4 of the same” ok, I thought me, then not! So I'll never call again! If you don't feel like it, you have to stop after Corona and make room for better shops that want too!

Ordered out of home today. I.a. Chicken wings and spare ribs with fries and salad for one person. It would have been enough for two. Very large portion, and therefore already worth four stars (you know that the food tastes good). Great price-performance ratio.

Actually a very nice evening. The food was good as always in the last few years. The opening time on Friday is indicated on the Internet as 17:00 - 00:00. Unfortunately, we were complimented out at 11:15 p.m., although quite nicely ... I'll be back anyway and hope that doesn't happen again.

Basically you feel very comfortable there. The food is delicious. However, I would appreciate it if the service staff asked more often if you would like another drink. But if you ask, someone is there quickly.

Very unfriendly and overwhelmed wait staff, starter (not even complete) only after three quarters of an hour, main course after another 1.5 hours. Food was okay, but extremely spicy. (Wasn't described like this on the menu.)

Always delicious, large selection, friendly staff. Some "all you can eat" offers for those who can't get enough. Prices ok. Not cheap but not overpriced either because there are large portions. Almost always fully booked, it makes sense to reserve in advance!

Delicious and always so much that you can't make it ?

Unfortunately, the service is not recommended. Waited 45 minutes for drinks and didn't even order something to eat, when asked how long this wouldn't take, the information was given in retrospect: Eating would definitely take over 60 minutes. Tables were not cleaned properly and the mouth and nose protection was often (if at all) worn over the mouth of the servants. The service staff reacted annoyed to the questions about drinks and food: They would be fully booked and that would be the case.

Unfortunately, very disappointing for us. A 60 km drive in anticipation of a delicious Mexican meal was not worth it. The dates wrapped in bacon were hard, cold and just not fresh. The mozzarella sticks were fried too long and the chilli poppers didn't have a hint of heat. The beef for the fajitas was more of a goulash. The wrap was cold and the filling was totally watery. If you really want to eat good Mexican food, this is where I think not in good hands.

Several shortcomings. 1. We waited half an hour with 10 people until our drinks were accepted. Our starters came together with the main courses so that you didn't know what to eat. Then I ordered vegetarian enschiladas like 2 others and mine didn't come. If I hadn't asked, it would never have arrived. It was similar with the drinks. Food was so well. No thanks. Not again. Just outrageous

Great food, great service & good conversation with friends - great! Will definitely be back !! Also due to the current corona pandemic, attention is paid to all hygiene measures here, great shop!

Wonderful atmosphere and nice ambience with wonderful weather. Nice waiter imposed to jokes. I liked the black tea with an oriental note best. The design of some of the menus was also outstanding. Clear, appealing and, above all, filled with tasty content. Just great! I would like to come back for tea soon. But next time I like to have milk with honey for a change

Friendly service, delicious food that was delivered quite quickly.

Delicious meal. Nice service. Nevertheless, all dishes came together both starters and main courses. Air up, but we will try it out again with you.

We went to Dos Amigos with the whole family to eat. The online reservation worked well. The food was delicious and plentiful. We all liked it very much. We would love to come back.

The taste of the food (buffet) was okay, plenty of choice, unfortunately the food was often lukewarm (the long lie?) Staff was a little too efficient due to clearing away quickly while you are still eating.

So we were very satisfied. The appetizer was a sensation. Once a year when Tom Gäbel gives the honor in Ibbenbüren we come here. We were never disappointed. Reservation is better. Until next year.

The restaurant is recommended. Food good and the staff very accommodating.

Ordered a vegetarian meal and the filling was 85% of onion! Unacceptable. The manager decided not to charge for it once I showed him, at least that. Not good for vegetarians.. others enjoyed but agreeded​ that Sausalitos is better. It was during Christmas time so maybe they do better on calmer months.
